ARG

This week has been the hardest week of my life. My very best friend, Amy, lost her sweet 2 year old to a tragic swingset incident. Pleaes join me in prayer for this precious family. I type this from Amy's house as she is finally sleeping. There are no words to comfort her, but the love of Jesus. I have never felt so helpless in my life! Amy and I are due with sweet baby girls 3 weeks apart! She is already a cm. dialated and 50% effaced. Please pray that baby stays put for now!

I read at Amy and Davey's wedding in front of the congregation, never did I ever think I would be speaking at their daughter's funeral service! Please pray for God to speak through me and for nothing but words of comfort and memories be shared.

Visitation for Ann Reese Grote is Friday from 6-8pm at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home is Daphne (27409 US HWY 98 Daphne, AL).

Service is on Saturday at Coastal Church (11101 County Road 64 in Daphne) at 10am with graveside following.

Giving thanks...

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We started off by opening our shower gift from Ryan's parents and got our amazing, generous travel system! His mom's spiritual gift or love language is definitely gift giving! She is the most generous person I have ever met! We love it, thank you Bebe and Daddy Buck!
This Thanksgiving, we cant help but be thankful for our little baby on the way! We cant wait to meet you Mae!
This is Ryan and his dad with the lobster trap and buoys from our Maine trip!
My precious family on Thanksgiving day! The joy of dating the guy you marry for 8 years before you marry is great, because our families are so close and we can have holidays TOGETHER instead of 2 in one day separate! Thanksgiving meal was at the Harbucks but the Johnsons got to be included! Love both of my families! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! God is good!

3 years and counting...

We had a low key 3rd anniversary this year. It was perfect, minus the fact that I had to work that day. After work, where Ryan had surprised me with 2 dozen roses at school, we jumped in the car for Bham for Thanksgiving. We celebrated at our favorite restaurant, Bottega. I got Ryan some mini's from his 'mini-me' Mae. He got me a new phone :) I know everyone loves there husband, but I honestly think mine is the best and I love him the most...just sayin'.

Mae's Nursery...

It is coming along! I wanted a very neutral room, with light touches of pink. I am not a huge pink fan, but what baby girl cant have pink! So I went very light with it! We had some DIY projects, Ryan re-sanded and painted the crib and glider. I had the cushions recovered. We are using one of the twin beds from Ryan's great Aunt that we inherited, and will use the other one when Mae is in a big girl bed, years from now. The biggest trouble was the curtains, put up and TOOK DOWN 5 different sets, but I am pleased with the final ones from RH baby. I cant wait for Mae to be here and see her room! She will be sleeping in her room from night 1, MARK MY WORD :) so she better love it! I have some of my clothes from when I was a baby, a painted stool, and Travis and I's rocking horse. I love sentimental! My sister in law painted a cross I cant wait to add as well! :)

KMH

WE are SHOCKED and thrilled, its a GIRL! Ultrasound looks healthy as can be!  I can not wait to hug and squeeze on this sweet baby Mae! We are naming her Kelly Mae Harbuck after my sweet dad and grandmother and calling her Mae! We had a special night of finding out the sex with both of our parents and celebrated at dinner at Amsterdam's afterwards! A day and I will never forget!

2.24..13

It is official! We are expecting! We were VERY blessed to get pregnant right away and I loved the moment Ryan got home from work for me to tell him we were having a baby! I hid balloons in the trashcan and asked him to take the trash out so I could get some good picture of his reaction and give me time to set up. Its by far my favorite moment since we got married!

Then we celebrated with a 'baby' meal!

And had fun with pictures:

We call this baby Poppyseed. When we first find out there was a baby inside my belly, the internet said it was the side of a poppyseed. So know Ryan leaves notes for me in the morning, but also for Poppyseed! For Father's Day I got him a onesie :)
It has been such a fun time telling family and friends. We waited to get to Bham that weekend and told our parents in special ways. Becky was on her way to the beach so Ryan called her to see if one more could come on our Maine trip. We told our dad's on father's day, which happened to be that weekend. Mom and I play scrabble every time we go on vacation, so I used that. Dad has called me his speckled trout since I was little due to our lake and fishing trips. He even bought me a hat when I was little that still wear that says speckled trout, due to my freckles that come out in the son. Ryan is the the 3rd generation with the initials RMH in his family, so if we have a boy we are naming him Ryan Maxwell Harbuck, JR. and calling him Max. Here are some of the highlights:

So excited to meet our little baby! God has blessed our marriage so much! Please join us in praying for a healthy baby, pregnancy, and delivery!“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born, I consecrated you…” – Jeremiah 1:5

We had a great time at our 10 year HHS reunion. It was fun to decorate with friends, see old friends, and catch up! It was fun for Ryan and I to have graduated together and go together married, even though we didnt date in high school!
I was in charge of decor.
Mindy did a great job organizing the night, I was SO excited to see Jenn, and sweet Natalie just had a baby 2 weeks earlier and looked great!
Meg and Holly are wives of 2 of Ryans best friends from HHS. I love those girls! Lauren and Hunter are another couple that graduated and got married from our class!
Good friends! My old prom date all the way to the right, my first boyfriend 2nd from the left, and 3 of my best guy friends from high school. Oh and the hot guy in the middle is my hubby :)
 I love my bestie Jess!
Reinacting our old tennis days! Cant wait for a few weeks to play together again at the beach!
Tennis friends!

Go BUCS!
