What a meaningful Wedding gift!

My sweet grandmother spent almost a year making this quilt for me out of my old sorority t-shirts. I am so thankful for her hardwork and time spent and wanted to share it with you! I sleep with it everynight! :)

Sorry for the long pause in postings...I have officially started teaching again, this time 3rd grade! I am at an AMAZING school and am so excited to have this opportunity! God is so good! Ryan leaves for Whistler a week from today and will be skiing for work (yeah right, for work???) for the week! I am so happy for him that he gets to do that!

Speaking of Ryan, we have been married for 101 days today! Best days of my life!

  1. Your grandmother is AWESOME!!! I have always wanted someone to do that for me!! I bet it is soo soft. Thanks for sharing.

  2. WOW Leighton~~~ I"ve saved EVERY t shirt my kids or Bill have owned JUST FOR QUILTS And have I had one made yet???? NO!! Need to find a t shirt quilter here in the "ham". Congrats on teaching job. A lucky school AND kids to have you!

  3. Hey Leighton! So I think we got married on the same day because yesterday I was randomly looking at my knot.com website and Josh and I have been married for 101 days. :) I loved your quilt - I still have all of those shirts! Hope things are going great for you!
